Jason Liwag

Jason Liwag is a versatile professional currently serving as a Graduate Research Student at the University of the Philippines, specializing in advanced cell and molecular biology techniques. In addition to academic pursuits, Jason contributes as a Film Critic for Cinema Centenario, a Contributing Writer for Rappler and CNN Philippines, and holds the position of President at Cine Crítico Filipino, fostering dialogue in Filipino cinema. With a background in theater as a freelance actor and singer, alongside extensive experience in hosting events, Jason also briefly lectured at the National Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology and worked as an Analyst at the Philippine Institute of Pure and Applied Chemistry. Jason's educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of the Philippines and a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from Ateneo de Manila University.
