Amanda Rudman Spergel

Amanda Rudman Spergel currently serves as the Senior Medical Director of Clinical Development at RAPT Therapeutics, beginning in October 2025. Prior to this role, Amanda held the position of Director of Clinical Development for Infectious Diseases at Moderna from May 2022 to October 2025, where responsibilities included oversight of Phase 1/2/3 trials for vaccines targeting respiratory viral infections. Amanda's extensive experience also includes serving as an Attending Physician at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs from July 2015 to June 2022 and as a Physician in the Division of Allergy, Immunology, and Transplantation at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases/NIH from July 2011 to April 2022. Amanda's medical training includes completion of a Doctor of Medicine degree at Penn State College of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Wellesley College.
