Associate Scientist at RAPT Therapeutics

Heather Milestone's work experience begins in 2013 as a Server and Cashier at Tacos to Go Mexican Grill. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as an Advanced Undergraduate Researcher at Cal Poly, Center for Applications in Biotechnology, where they gained experience in running Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA), PCR, restriction digest, and gel electrophoresis. Heather also assisted in the development and analysis of a Hepatitis B oral vaccine. In 2016, Milestone joined BioAssay Systems as an Assay Development Scientist/Technical Support Associate until 2019. Heather'sresponsibilities included assay development and providing technical support. Since 2019, they have been working at RAPT Therapeutics, starting as a Research Associate II - Quantitative Biology and currently holding the role of Senior Research Associate.

Heather Milestone attended Notre Dame Highschool in Belmont, California from 2007 to 2011. Heather did not receive a specific degree or major in this institution. Following this, Heather pursued higher education at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo from 2011 to 2015. During their time there, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry.
