Joyjit Basak

Joyjit Basak has extensive experience in quality control and laboratory management, currently serving as the Head of Quality at Modern Laboratories since December 2017. Concurrently, Joyjit holds the position of Deputy General Manager - QC at RAPTAKOS BRETT & CO., overseeing the QC team at the Thane plant for food and pharmaceutical products. Prior roles include General Manager at Choksi Laboratories Ltd., managing the lab business in Goa, and Assistant Manager at SGS, where responsibilities included team management for client validation and method development. Joyjit's career began at Ranbaxy, progressing from Stability Studies Officer to Senior Research Scientist, focusing on method development, validation, and stability studies. Joyjit earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from DAVV Indore between 1998 and 2000.
