Annica began their career as a Picker & Packer at Levi's Footwear & Accessories in 1990. Annica then worked at Stadium AB, where they served as a Visual Merchandiser, Floor Manager, and eventually became Sales Manager and VM Area Manager.
In 1996, they joined In Wear Group as a Sales Executive and Visual Merchandiser. After that, they returned to Stadium AB as a Store Manager and VM Area Manager.
From 2007 to 2009, they founded their own company called Umami Living, where they designed and sold products made from recycled and natural materials.
At Åhléns AB, they worked as a Sales Manager in Marketing & Visual Merchandising and later became a Project Manager in Business Development.
From 2014 to 2017, Annica Rantala worked at Röhnisch Sportswear AB, initially as the Head of Design & Marketing and then as the Creative Director.
