Danny Evans has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Danny started their career as a Biomedical Scientist at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Trust from September 2013 to September 2014. Danny then worked as a Visiting Scientist at the University of Sheffield, where they conducted research projects on oncolytic virotherapy delivery strategies and the cancer-causing Salmonella Typhi toxin from September 2016 to September 2017. Following this, Danny pursued a PHD at the University of Birmingham, where they served as a PHD Researcher from September 2017 to May 2022. In 2022, Danny joined Mandashi as an Investment Manager, and in the same year, they also took on the role of Managing Director at AppMesters. Lastly, in 2023, they became a Consultant Lead Analyst at RareCan, a Mandashi portfolio company focused on connecting patients with rare cancers to clinical trials and researchers. In this role, they are involved in improving member-to-trial matching processes using new AI techniques.
