Amr Elsisy

Amr Elsisy has worked in a variety of roles since 2015. In 2015, they were an Intern at ItVizion. In 2016, they were an Intern at Sustura, LLC. From 2017-2022, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they developed a Random Anonymized Network Generator (RANG) for generating statistically similar synthetic networks to real criminal/social networks, a model for generating edges in synthetic networks, and a machine learning based method for predicting future crime rates. Amr also taught Database Systems, Data Mining, and performed data analysis on a social network. In 2022, they became the Chief Data Officer at Raseedi App.

Amr Elsisy began their educational journey in 2012 when they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Riverside. Amr continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science in Computer Science in 2017. In 2021, Amr Elsisy completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
