Ali Taqi

Ali Taqi, CFA, currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Equities at Rasmala since July 2016. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Asset Management at A/T Capital Management Limited from February 2008 to March 2016, and as Head of MENA Asset Management at the National Bank of Kuwait between 2005 and 2008. Ali began the career as a Senior Equity Analyst at Gulf Investment Corporation from 2002 to 2005 and as an Assistant in Equity Research at Manning & Napier Advisors from 2000 to 2002. Academic credentials include a CFA Charter obtained from the CFA Institute (2001-2004), a Master of Engineering in Financial Engineering from Cornell University (1999-2000), and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University (1993-1998). Additionally, Ali completed a Wharton Executive Education program on Fintech in early 2021.
