Bob Doehl

Bob Doehl currently serves as the Senior Director of Operations and Senior Fellow at Rasmuson Foundation, focusing on the organization's Homeless Initiative since November 2021. Prior to this role, Bob held various significant positions, including the Development Services Department Director and Building Official for the Municipality of Anchorage, where oversight included building inspections and response management during the COVID-19 pandemic. Bob also served as Deputy Commissioner at the State of Alaska Department of Military and Veterans Affairs and as Special Assistant for Military and Veterans Affairs for Senator Mark Begich. With extensive military experience, including positions within the Alaska Air National Guard and the United States Air Force, Bob's leadership spans civil service, legal practice, and military operations. Bob holds a JD from the University of Illinois College of Law and a BA in Russian Linguistics from Lawrence University.
