Aris Kyriakos Koliopoulos

Aris Kyriakos Koliopoulos has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Aris Kyriakos is currently the Co-Founder & CTO at Rated Labs since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Head Of Engineering at Sprout.ai from November 2021 to April 2022.

From February 2018 to January 2022, Aris served as the Chief Technology Officer at DriveTribe, where they also held the roles of Scala Team Lead from April 2017 to February 2018 and Senior Software Engineer from March 2016 to April 2017. Aris Kyriakos was involved in building a large-scale next-generation publishing platform using Scala, Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, Elasticsearch, and Redis.

Before joining DriveTribe, they worked as a Software Engineer at 6Tribes from January 2015 to March 2016. During this time, they contributed to the development of an interest-based social network and gained expertise in functional programming, DevOps, data science, and cloud engineering on AWS.

Aris started their career as a Big Data Software Engineer at DigitalMR Ltd from September 2014 to January 2015. Prior to that, they provided IT support at the Greek Ministry of National Defence from January 2013 to August 2013. Aris Kyriakos also served as a Private in the Greek Army from November 2012 to January 2013.

In addition, Aris worked as a Research Associate at the CHIRON European Research Project from September 2012 to November 2012.

Aris Kyriakos Koliopoulos pursued their education in the field of computer science and engineering. Aris Kyriakos first enrolled in the University of Patras from 2006 to 2012, where they earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, specializing in Computers and Electronics. Aris Kyriakos further enhanced their knowledge and skills by pursuing a Master's degree in Advanced Computer Science from The University of Manchester, studying from 2013 to 2014.
