Head Of Exploration & Subsurface at Ratio Petroleum

Gal Hartman has extensive work experience in the energy and geological field. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Exploration & Subsurface at Ratio Energies since 2022. Prior to this, they held the same position at Ratio Petroleum from 2015 onwards. Gal also has experience serving as a Board Member for both Bet HaEmek Agricultural Association and Bet HaEmek Economic Corporation from 2017 to 2021. In terms of their geological expertise, Gal worked as a Geologist and Geophysicist at Ratio Oil Exploration from 2012 to 2018. Before that, they were a Marine Geophysicist at the Israel Oceanographic & Limnological Research, National Institute of Oceanography from 2009 to 2012. Gal has a strong academic background, having been a Ph.D. student at Tel Aviv University from 2005 to 2012, where they also served as a Teaching Assistant.

Gal Hartman received a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Geology/Earth Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2000 to 2003. They then pursued further education at Tel Aviv University, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geology and Geophysics from 2005 to 2012. Additionally, Gal Hartman obtained a certification in MOOC Oil & Gas from IFP School, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification were not provided.
