Harald Braun has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Harald is currently the Director of Service Operations for Digital Customer Solutions at RATIONAL AG since 2018. In this role, they lead IoT and software implementation projects, customer success management, and training. Harald is also involved in pre-sales and proof-of-concept engagements for key accounts and handles the business operations of a digitalization start-up business.

Prior to their current role, Harald served as the Head of Customer Service at Weltbild GmbH & Co. KG from 2017 to 2018.

Before that, they had a long and successful career at Oracle Deutschland BV & Co. KG. Harald held several senior director positions, including Senior Director of Oracle Retail & Micros Retail Customer Support from 2015 to 2017. Harald also served as the Senior Director of Retail Customer Support & Center Manager Germany from 2005 to 2015.

In addition, Harald held various director roles at Oracle, such as Director of E-Business Suite Applications Support Hemisphere East from 2004 to 2005, Director of E-Business Suite Applications Support EMEA from 2002 to 2003, and Director of E-Business Suite Applications Germany, Austria, ECE, CIS from 2001 to 2002.

Harald started their career at Oracle as a Systems Engineer and Manager, where they worked from 1994 to 2001.

Harald Braun completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Controlling, Micro and Macro Economics from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg. Harald pursued this degree from 1987 to 1992. Later, in 2007 to 2008, they obtained a Service MBA from the International Management Institute (SIMI). The focus of their Service MBA was Managing the Service Delivery System. In addition to their formal education, Harald Braun also obtained certifications from AXELOS Global Best Practice, including the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management in 2016 and the PRINCE2 Project Management certification, also obtained in 2016.
