Jon Martin Haaland

Jon Martin Haaland is an experienced R&D Manager at Raufoss Technology since September 2017, focusing on research activities and technology development. Prior to this role, Jon served as Tech. Lead Engineer, specializing in product and process development for aluminium chassis components. Jon Martin's engineering background includes the role of Vehicle Dynamics Engineer and Chief Drivetrain Engineer at Revolve NTNU, where Jon contributed to tire data analysis, suspension design, and the mechanical design of a Formula Student racecar's tractive system. Additionally, Jon worked as a Potroom operator at Alcoa Lista, overseeing a significant number of aluminium reduction ovens. Jon holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and furthered education at Politecnico di Milano.
