Mika Saariaho

Mika Saariaho is the current President and CEO at Raute. Mika has previously held various leadership positions at Metso Outotec, Outotec, the World Steel Association, and Metso.

Saariaho began their career as an Associate at McKinsey & Company in 2000. In 2004, they became Senior Vice President - Corporate Strategy and Planning at Outokumpu Oyj. Mika left this position in 2007 to become Deputy Director General at the World Steel Association.

In 2010, they returned to Outokumpu as Chief Strategy Officer (Member of the Executive Board). Mika held this position until 2013 when they became Senior Vice President - Energy & Environment. In 2016, they left Outotec to join Metso as Senior Vice President, Global Supply Chain - Minerals Services.

In 2018, Saariaho was promoted to Senior Vice President, Aggregates Consumables. The following year, they were again promoted to Senior Vice President, Crusher Consumables. Mika held this position until 2019 when they became Senior Vice President - Corporate Strategy and Planning at Metso.

In 2020, Saariaho left Metso to become President & CEO at Raute.
