Dr. Laura Wales has over a decade of work experience in various roles primarily related to data analysis and management. Dr Laura'smost recent position is as the Data and Performance Lead at Raven Housing Trust since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked at L&Q as an Information Manager from August 2019 to January 2021 and as an Information Analyst from August 2018 to August 2019. Dr Laura also held the position of Head of Insight and Product Development at HACT Housing from July 2017 to July 2018. Dr. Wales has a background in research, having worked as a Post Doctoral Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee from June 2012 to April 2013, focusing on Earth and Planetary Sciences. Dr Laura also worked as an Assistant Project Manager and Website Manager at University College London from October 2010 to June 2012 while pursuing their PhD in Geochemistry. Additionally, they have experience in teaching as a Geography Teacher at the London Academy of Excellence from August 2013 to September 2014.
Dr. Laura Wales earned their MSci in Geology from Imperial College London between 2004 and 2008. Dr Laura further pursued their education at UCL, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geology from 2008 to 2012.

Raven Housing Trust is a social business based in Redhill, Surrey which owns or manages more than 7,000 homes. We are committed to investing in homes and neighbourhoods to develop local communities where people want to live. The majority of Raven's homes are Reigate and Banstead but we are increasingly working in surrounding areas. We now have homes in Mole Valley, Epsom and Ewell, Mid Sussex, Crawley, Woking, Sutton and Tandridge. The majority of our customers rent their homes from us however we also have customers who either own the lease to their homes or own their homes on a part-rent/part-buy basis with Raven. We provide several sheltered housing schemes and also manage several youth centres in the area.
