Johan Borkhuis

Johan Borkhuis is a seasoned software architect and technology specialist with extensive experience in embedded software development and system architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Software Architect and Senior Technology Specialist at Sioux Technologies since July 2015, Johan also holds the position of Techlead at Raven Industries, focusing on developing new features for the CR7 and CR12 targeted at the European market. Previous roles include Embedded Software Engineer at Priva, where contributions were made to the FlexBlox architecture and IoT devices for horticulture, and Embedded Software Engineer/Linux Specialist at Lely. Johan's career also includes positions at Omron, Cimsolutions, Thales Communications, Dutch Space, and InTraffic, where expertise in real-time embedded systems and software integration was demonstrated. Johan earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computertechniek from Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
