Ron Morfitt

Ron Morfitt is an accomplished research engineer with extensive experience in the fields of engineering and systems management. Currently serving at Aerostar International, Inc. since July 2022, Ron has also been with Raven Industries since April 2018 in a similar capacity. Prior roles include Landsat Calibration and Validation Manager at USGS EROS from December 2014 to April 2018, and Systems Engineer (Cal/Val Lead) at Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies from December 2009 to December 2014. Ron's professional journey also includes significant contributions as a Systems Engineer at SAIC between 2004 and 2008, and with Raytheon from 1997 to 2004. A research assistant at South Dakota State University from 1994 to 1997, Ron holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota State University, complemented by education at Austin Technical College.
