Blake Herren

Blake Herren is a CEO and Co-founder of Raven Space Systems since 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Oklahoma - Gallogly College of Engineering from 2018 to 2021 where they authored and published several papers on various topics including rapid thermoset curing, flexible nanocomposite sensors, direct ink write 3D printing, and oil sorbent technologies. Blake also invented a scalable method for continuous extraction of oil spills from water.

Blake Herren attended Jenks High School, although it is not clear what degree they obtained there. Blake then moved on to the University of Oklahoma, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering in 2018. Continuing their education at the same university, they earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from 2018 to 2021.
