Francisco (Paco) Gómez

Francisco (Paco) Gómez has worked in a variety of roles in the aeronautical engineering field. Francisco (Paco) began their career in 2006 as a Flight Test Engineer at Airbus. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as a Research Engineer at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW). From 2009 to 2013, they were a PhD Research Engineer at Instituto Nacional de Tecnica Aeroespacial (INTA). Francisco (Paco) then worked as a Postdoc in Computational Fluid Mechanics at Monash University from 2013 to 2017. In 2017, they became a Lecturer in Computational Aerodynamics at RMIT University. Most recently, they have been employed as a Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist at RavenPack since 2018.

Francisco (Paco) Gómez's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Aeronautical Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, obtained between 2009 and 2013. Francisco (Paco) also holds an MSc in Aerospace Engineering from the same university, obtained between 2009 and 2011. In 2007, they completed a PFC at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Between 2001 and 2007, they studied Ingeniero Aeronautico at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. In 2004 and 2005, they attended Syracuse University for their senior year in Aeronautics. Francisco (Paco) also attended Colegio Mayor Barberán and the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics. Francisco (Paco) Gómez also holds a certification in Analyze Datasets and Train ML Models using AutoML from Coursera, obtained in April 2022.
