Chief Operating Officer at Raw Thrills

Andrew Eloff has extensive work experience in the audio and gaming industries. Andrew co-founded Raw Thrills, Inc. in 2001 and served as the Chief Operating Officer. In this role, they directed game development, engineering, and manufacturing. Andrew was responsible for developing approximately 5 game introductions per year and overseeing the production of about 10,000 games annually. Andrew also created and managed new business partnerships for co-development and licensing.

Prior to Raw Thrills, Inc., Andrew worked at Clarkstereo Labs as the Chief Synthesist/Bassic Research. Their responsibilities included generating grants for research into optimal audio generation, all of which were self-funded.

Andrew also worked as a Senior Engineer at Shure Inc., where they developed a highly-optimized DSP version of Shure's proprietary Intellimix algorithm. Additionally, they designed and built hardware and software emulators to streamline software development and reduce iteration times.

Before that, Andrew worked as an Audio Development Engineer at Midway Games, Williams Electronic Games, and Atari Games. In these roles, they were involved in audio DSP algorithm development and optimization, cross-platform API development, and real-time kernel development for audio hardware systems.

Early in their career, Andrew worked as an Audio Development Engineer at Pioneer Electronics, where they designed sound systems for American-market Lexus automobiles. Andrew also spent a year working at the company's headquarters in Japan, communicating exclusively in Japanese. During this time, they designed and implemented HRTF-based localization algorithms.

Andrew started their career as a Co-op at COMSAT Laboratories, where they gained valuable experience before moving on to various roles in the audio and gaming industries.

Andrew Eloff completed their undergraduate education from 1989 to 1994 at the University of Cincinnati, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Andrew further pursued their education at Northwestern University from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
