Ken Schroeder

Ken Schroeder possesses extensive experience in counseling and youth development, having served as a Therapist at Rawhide since January 2015. Prior roles include Youth Development Specialist at the Cook County Temporary Juvenile Detention Center, where responsibilities encompassed ensuring the safety and well-being of residents, and serving as Counselor III and Counselor II in substance abuse programs at Lake County Health Department and Kid’s Hope United, respectively. An early career as an Educator at Central Baptist Family Services focused on providing care for troubled adolescent boys. Ken holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies from the University of Wisconsin/Madison.
