Michael H. Zhu

Michael H. Zhu serves as Special Counsel to the Firm’s Downtown Manhattan office. Mr. Zhu’s practice is dedicated to representing clients in appeals in state and federal matters. His appellate experience includes writing appellate briefs and arguing more than 550 appeals in New York courts and in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in appeals including litigation involving legal, architectural, engineering, and broker malpractice, personal injury, products liability, premises liability, labor law/construction accidents, municipal liability, nursing home liability, primary and excess insurance coverage and subrogation, commercial litigation and other forms of complex litigation. Mr. Zhu also assists clients in the preparation of complex summary judgement and post-trial motion practice in state and federal trial courts in New York.

Mr. Zhu was named a New York Metro Super Lawyer in 2020 by Super Lawyers.

Mr. Zhu is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. He earned a JD from New York Law School in 1994 and a B.A. from New York University in 1990.
