Raymond A. Swan

Raymond A. Swan is an Of Counsel in their Philadelphia office. Mr. Swan is experienced litigation with over twenty jury trial verdicts, over one-hundred arbitrations and mediations in a wide variety of cases. His wide range of knowledge includes property subrogation and insurance defense.

After graduating the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Law, Mr. Swan clerked for the Honorable Thomas C. Mannix of the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for Beavery County. Mr. Swan then joined the Office of the Chief Counsel for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation as an Assistant Counsel.

Prior to joining Rawle & Henderson, Mr. Swan worked for a large insurance company as a litigation/trial attorney and served as national coordinating counsel for all of its large property subrogation files. Mr. Swan also spent time working for insurance defense firms in the Greater Philadelphia area representing clients in casualty, product liability, and workers’ compensation matters. Mr. Swan is a graduate of Bowdoin College with high honors with a degree in History.
