Alayna B. McNamara

Alayna B. McNamara is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in teaching and instructional roles focused on inclusivity and student development. Currently, Alayna serves as a Fitness Instructor at Sky Candy, specializing in aerial dance for various age groups, while also emphasizing inclusive programming for disabled, chronically ill, and neurodivergent students. As a Teacher at Rawson Saunders School, Alayna has implemented impactful writing strategies for dyslexic students and customized math curricula for learners with dyscalculia. Previous positions include Lead Teacher at The Hideout Theatre, where Alayna taught improvisational comedy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and various teaching roles in early childhood education settings, highlighting a strong commitment to fostering inclusive, developmentally appropriate learning environments. Alayna holds a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Texas A&M University-Commerce and a Master's Degree in Learning Sciences from Indiana University Bloomington, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Biology and International Studies from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
