Sunny Zuniga is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in Montessori education and distance learning coordination. Currently serving as Teaching Faculty at Rawson Saunders School since August 2022 and as Distance Learning Coordinator at Headwaters School since August 2017, Sunny Zuniga has demonstrated expertise in developing and facilitating engaging educational programs for K-5 students. Prior roles include Elementary Coordinator/Lead Guide at Mariposa Montessori School, where responsibilities encompassed day-to-day administration and growth planning for an expanding elementary program. With a solid background in systems analysis and IT management at various institutions, including the University of Texas System, Sunny Zuniga combines educational leadership with technical proficiency, bolstered by advanced degrees in English from Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Richmond, alongside Montessori certifications.

Rawson Saunders is the only full-curriculum school in central Texas for children with dyslexia. Our school is recognized nationally as a leader in innovative teaching methods tailored specifically to the way students with dyslexia learn.
