Gigi Dada has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries.
Starting in 2005, Gigi worked as a Supply Manager at Cargill, where they were responsible for managing the supply chain.
In 2006, they joined TURKMEN GROUP as a Supply Manager, overseeing procurement and logistics in a textile company until 2009.
From 2010 to 2011, Gigi served as a Supply Manager at Médecins Sans Frontières (Switzerland), ensuring the efficient flow of supplies for the organization's operations.
In 2011, they transitioned to the role of HR Manager at Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), where they managed human resources activities.
Following this, Gigi became the Head of HR at MSF from 2012 to 2013, overseeing HR operations and initiatives.
In 2014, they joined Bellevue/NYU Program for Survivors of Torture as a Clinical Social Worker, providing support to survivors of torture.
Gigi then joined Child and Youth Finance International in 2017 as an Africa Region Account Coordinator, managing accounts and coordinating activities for the organization.
Simultaneously, from 2017 to 2022, Gigi worked as a Global HR Advisor at Artsen zonder Grenzen Nederland, collaborating with local HR heads to implement HR practices and new initiatives.
In 2022, they served as a Human Resources Manager at DENSO Europe before transitioning to their current role as Global Head of Human Resources at Raxio Data Centres.
Gigi Dada's education history begins with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations from Marmara University, which was obtained between the years 1997 and 2001. Gigi then pursued a Master's degree in International Humanitarian Action and Law from Institut d'Etudes Humanitaires Internationales (IEHI) - Université Paul Cézanne, Aix-Marseille III, from 2009 to 2010. Following this, Gigi attended New York University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Social Work between 2013 and 2015.
Gigi continued their academic journey by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2021 to 2022, with a focus on Human Resources Management and Services. Currently, Gigi is furthering their education at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Business, specifically in the field of Organizational Change Management, which started in 2022 and is expected to be completed in 2024.
