Karim El Shagea, MBA, LSSGB has a diverse work experience in various industries. Karim started their career at Orbit as a Dispatcher, where they were responsible for arranging schedules for technicians and providing customer service. Karim then moved on to Schlumberger, where they held multiple positions such as Crew Administrator, Payables Accountant, and Management Accountant. In these roles, they were responsible for financial procedures, supplier payables, balance sheet accounts, and monthly revenue reconciliation. After their time at Schlumberger, Karim worked at Astrazeneca as a Senior Accountant, focusing on financial transactions processing and the development of standard processes and systems. Karim then joined MAGRABI RETAIL as a Regional Revenue Controller Supervisor, overseeing regional revenue control. Currently, Karim is working at Raya Data Center as the Business Controller & Planning Manager, where they are responsible for business planning, managing teams, strategic planning, and financial analysis.

Karim El Shagea holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Global Management, which they obtained from Paris ESLSCA Business School from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Education (BED) in Accounting and Finance from Cairo University between 2001 and 2005. Karim completed their high school education at Dar El Tarbeya Language School from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained a high school degree in Thanaweya Amma. Additionally, Karim has earned the certification of Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the International Association for Six Sigma Certification in February 2020. Karim also possesses a Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA) from IIBA, although the exact time of obtaining this certification is not provided.
