José Fernández Figueroa

José Fernández Figueroa currently serves as Presidente of Pro Salud Chile, starting in May 2023, leading a multisectoral association focused on enhancing healthcare solutions in Chile. Since January 2009, José has held various leadership roles at Rayen Salud, including Gerente General and Gerente Clínico, overseeing strategic project management. Previously, from March 2006 to December 2008, José was the Jefe Area Informática Médica at the Ministry of Health, where the creation of the medical informatics area for Chile was a key achievement. Additional experience includes directing health services at the Corporación Municipal de Desarrollo Social de Cerro Navia and Centro de Salud Familiar Cerro Navia, and overseeing respiratory diseases programs at the Servicio de Salud Metropolitano Occidente. José holds a Master of Public Health and an MBA specializing in healthcare, along with a degree in Medicine from Universidad de Santiago de Chile.
