Babar Rafique, CFA, MBA, is a seasoned investment banking professional serving as Vice President of Investment Banking (Private Capital Advisory) at Raymond James since September 2021, following the acquisition of Cebile by the firm. With previous experience as Vice President of Fund Solutions at Cebile Capital and roles at Circle and SeedInvest focused on venture capital and equity crowdfunding, Babar has established a strong background in capital formation and financial advising. Earlier career achievements include working as an Associate at Setter Capital, where responsibilities encompassed managing secondary alternative asset deal flow, and as an Investment Specialist at Royal Bank of Canada, where Babar excelled in formulating investment strategies tailored to client goals.
