Granville Bonyata

Granville Bonyata is an experienced engineering leader with a strong focus on database solutions and performance optimization. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Raymond James since January 2017, Granville leads a performance team for data platforms utilizing Oracle and Redshift. Prior experience includes roles such as Director of Database Solutions at Eagle Datagistics and multiple positions at American Express, where Granville worked on significant Oracle performance tuning projects and implemented Oracle EBR. With over 20 years of expertise in large database applications, including experience with Oracle and SQL Server, Granville has built various enterprise applications across multiple industries. Granville holds a Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Mercer University.
