Matt Poland

Matt Poland is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Director and Hedge Fund Lead in the Alternative Investments Group at Raymond James since April 2019, overseeing a robust $12 billion investment platform and leading hedge fund investment due diligence and product development initiatives. Prior to this role, Matt Poland was the Manager of Public Markets at Emory University from 2007 to 2018, managing over $4.3 billion of a $6 billion portfolio. Earlier in his career, Matt Poland held positions such as Senior Investment Analyst at RidgeWorth Investments, Associate at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, and Analyst roles. Matt Poland holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, as well as a BS in Business Administration and an MBA in Finance from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and Georgia State University, respectively.
