Theresa Welch

Theresa Welch is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in SEC reporting and accounting policy, currently serving as the Vice President of SEC Reporting and Accounting Policy at Raymond James since January 2018. Prior roles include Director of SEC Reporting and Accounting Policy and Director of Accounting Policy at Raymond James, as well as experience at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) in inspections. Theresa's background also encompasses a directorship in financial projects at MasTec, Inc., where responsibilities included valuation and integration of acquisitions and technical accounting research, along with previous audit management roles at KPMG. Early career experience includes working as an associate at BDO Seidman, LLP and an intern at the University of North Carolina Family Practice Center. Theresa holds a Master of Accounting degree from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a focus on Healthcare Policy and Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
