Saflain Haider has a diverse and extensive work experience history. Saflain has held various positions in different organizations throughout their career.

In 2009, they started as the Manager of Operations at ABSOL, where they were responsible for strategic planning and overseeing sales and performance targets.

In 2010, they joined the Punjab Information Technology Board, initially as an Assistant Program Manager and eventually worked their way up to the position of Additional Director General. During their tenure, they specialized in project management and led IT initiatives for various government entities in sectors such as Health, Emergency Services, Labor, Education, Agriculture, and Livestock & Dairy Development.

In 2020, they served as the Chief Information Officer at the National Institute of Health Pakistan (NIH), overseeing the countrywide portfolio of health informatics and collaborating with the development sector to implement sustainable technology in the healthcare sector.

Saflain also worked as the Director/Head of Project Delivery at TallyMarks Consulting in 2020 and as the Senior Information Technology Consultant at the Pakistan Medical Commission in 2021, where they provided strategic direction to the IT wing and successfully organized the largest competitive exam in Pakistan.

In 2021, Saflain Haider also held the positions of the Chief Technology Advisor at TEVTA Punjab, responsible for leading digital transformation initiatives, and as a Member of Information Technology at the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination, where they represented the ministry at national and international forums and supervised digital health initiatives.

Starting in 2019, they became a Member of Roster for Digital Health Planning and Deployment Specialist at UNICEF and a member of the Roster of Experts on Digital Health at the World Health Organization.

Most recently, in 2022, they assumed the role of the Managing Director (Health and Public Service) at Rayn, where they are responsible for business development, project delivery, and team building. Saflain has successfully launched a mobile phone-based application for Polio-workers and designed a nationwide Covid-MIS system.

Saflain Haider completed a BSc (Hons) in Business Information Systems from Middlesex University from 2001 to 2005, with a focus on project management, strategic planning, business communications, and internet programming. Saflain also pursued an MSc in Business IT from Kingston University from 2005 to 2006, specializing in strategic management and the management of ERP resources.
