Larissa S. Fenn

Director, New Products R&d at Rayonier Advanced Materials

Larissa S. Fenn has extensive experience in research and development, specializing in mass spectrometry and ion mobility-mass spectrometry. Larissa S. started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at Vanderbilt University, where they worked on translational medical research and authored multiple publications. Larissa S. then served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the same institution, focusing on ion mobility-mass spectrometry for various applications. Larissa later joined Waters Corporation as a Senior Mass Spectrometry Specialist, managing accounts and providing technical expertise in mass spectrometry instrumentation. Currently, they are employed at Rayonier Advanced Materials, where they have held roles as a Senior Scientist and Manager in New Products R&D. In these positions, Larissa worked with high purity cellulose and collaborated with internal teams and external customers to drive innovation. Larissa S. is currently serving as the Director of New Products R&D at Rayonier Advanced Materials.

Larissa S. Fenn received a Bachelor of Science with Honors degree in Chemistry from Mercer University from 2001 to 2005. Following this, they pursued a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry at Vanderbilt University from 2005 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certification in Challenger Fundamentals - Core Sale Skills from Challenger in 2022.
