Maria Cruz-Bajo serves as the Accounting Controller at Ray's Restaurants since October 2019, overseeing the transition of accounting data to Restaurant 365 and managing financial operations for multiple entities and restaurants. Prior experience includes roles as Accounting Director at Star Chain Inc, where significant transitions and implementations improved accounts payable processes, and as Accounting Manager at FOCUS Brands, supervising staff while managing accounting for over 50 restaurants. Additional roles spanned various accounting positions at Kaplan Higher Education and Dixon Hughes LLP, culminating in a solid foundation in auditing and fixed asset management. Maria holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Georgia.
