Amanda Kerr is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as a Senior Principal Engineer at BAE Systems, Inc. since January 2023. Prior to this role, Amanda worked at Raytheon Technologies from February 2014, first as a Principal Process Engineer leading Metals and Dielectrics Deposition in III-V and III-Nitride wafer foundry operations, and earlier as an Electrical Engineer in a Molecular Beam Epitaxy group. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan. Amanda also has experience as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC San Diego, focusing on semiconductor surface science and dielectric passivation layers.
