Charlie Powell

Charlie Powell has a significant work experience in the healthcare industry. Charlie has served in various executive roles throughout their career. Charlie started their career as an Assistant Administrator at PhyCor in 1996 and later became the Chief Operating Officer at Piedmont HealthCare from 1998 to 2005. Charlie then served as the CEO of Northeast Georgia Heart Center from 2005 to 2007. Charlie continued their healthcare leadership journey by becoming the CEO of Saint Thomas Heart in 2007 and later the CEO of Physician Services at Saint Thomas Health from 2008 to 2013. Charlie then joined KentuckyOne Health, where they held the positions of President, Physician Enterprise, and Ambulatory from 2013 to 2018. Charlie also worked as the US Chief Operating Officer at GenesisCare from 2019 to 2022. Charlie then became the Chief Operating Officer at US Heart and Vascular from February to October 2022. Charlie's most recent positions were as President of CP Healthcare Solutions, LLC from October 2022 onwards, and EVP at Foundation Radiology and EVP of Hospital and Clinical Solutions at RAYUS Radiology from July to December 2023 and from January 2024 onwards, respectively. Through their career, Charlie has showcased strong leadership skills and experience in strategy, operations, business development, and advising in the healthcare industry.

Charlie Powell, CMPE, FACHE holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee. Charlie also earned a Master's degree in Health Care Administration with an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Additionally, Charlie obtained a certification in Project Management Foundations from LinkedIn in 2022.
