Akira Mehler

Akira Mehler has an extensive work experience spanning various industries. They started their career in 2011 at Swiss Re, where they worked in controlling. In 2012, they joined EY as an assurance employee. Subsequently, in 2014, they worked at PwC in transaction services, focusing on the private equity group.

In 2015, Akira worked at Deutsche Bank in two different roles, first in risk and regulatory, and then in structured finance. They pursued academic research in 2016 at Universität Mannheim as a research assistant in the Chair of Accounting & Capital Markets.

In 2017, Akira joined McKinsey & Company as a senior associate and continued working there until 2021. During this time, they gained experience in various projects and consulting engagements.

From 2019 to 2021, Akira held positions at RWTH Aachen University, initially serving as a start-up coach and later taking on the role of Head of RWTH Entrepreneurship Center.

Currently, since 2021, Akira has been working at Razor Group, initially as the Product Development Lead, followed by the position of Head of Revenue Growth. Finally, they assumed the role of VP Portfolio Growth.

Akira Mehler completed a BSc in Business Administration at the EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht from 2011 to 2014. In 2013, they also studied at the Nova School of Business and Economics. From 2014 to 2016, they pursued an MSc in Business Administration at the University of Mannheim. Currently, from 2019 to 2021, Akira is engaged in a doctoral program, pursuing a PhD in Business Administration at RWTH Aachen University.
