Phillip Coxon BSc (Hons) has work experience in various roles and companies. Phillip started their career in 2012 at the Royal Air Force (RAF) as a Flight Operations Assistant and worked there until October 2017. In 2018, they joined The Royal George as a Bartender and stayed until May 2021. From May 2021 to September 2021, Phillip worked at Razorblue Group as a Client Support Engineer. Phillip then served as an Interim Team Leader from September 2021 to March 2022 at the same company. Currently, they hold the position of Infrastructure Engineer - Implementation at Razorblue Group.

From 2018 to 2021, they attended the University of Sunderland and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Networks & CyberSecurity. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2018, they studied at Sunderland College for an Access to Higher Education diploma in Humanities & Social Science.

In addition to their formal education, Phillip has acquired various certifications throughout their career. Phillip obtained SC Clearance from the UK Ministry of Defence in September 2012. In June 2020, they became Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals. Phillip also completed the Inclusive Leadership North East Ambition Programme offered by Common Purpose in July 2020. Phillip obtained the AWS Academy Graduate - AWS Academy Cloud Foundations certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2020. More recently, in February 2023, they acquired the certifications for Networking Essentials, Cybersecurity Essentials, and Introduction to Cybersecurity, all from Cisco.
