Betsy Murton-Mendoza

Betsy Murton-Mendoza, PHR, SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Betsy is currently the Vice President of the People Team at RB Global Inc. In their previous role as the VP of Human Resources at Insurance Auto Auctions, they played a significant role in change management, built a companywide recognition program, and contributed to M&A deals. Prior to that, Betsy served as the HR Director of Field Operations & Sales at Insurance Auto Auctions, where they focused on strengthening HRBP team leadership, talent management, and implementing productivity-enhancing tools. Betsy also has experience as the HR Director of In Home Services at Sears Home Services, where they led HR initiatives for a large field organization and successfully executed reorganization projects. Betsy has demonstrated their project management skills and strategic thinking as the Manager of HR Strategy, Initiatives, and Systems at Sears Home Services, where they led enterprise-wide system conversions and collaborated on cross-functional projects. Before joining Sears, they worked at Global Research Technologies as the Business Operations Manager, where they managed a team of engineers and scientists, recruited specialized talent, and coordinated media coverage. Betsy began their career at Cordia Senior Living and First Data Corporation as a Business Manager.

Betsy Murton-Mendoza, PHR, SHRM-CP received their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a major in Business Management and a minor in Women's Studies from San Diego State University in the years 1999-2001. In addition, they obtained their Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification in February 2015 from HRCI and became a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) in the same month and year from SHRM.
