Brian Falk

Brian Falk has an extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and data privacy. Brian is currently working as the Senior Director of Cybersecurity and Data Privacy at RB Global Inc. since September 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Cybersecurity and Data Privacy at Ritchie Bros. from January 2022 to September 2023. Brian also worked as a Senior Manager of Information Security at Vail Resorts from June 2020 to January 2022. Before that, they held multiple positions at Webroot, including Senior Manager of Cyber Operations from February 2019 to June 2020 and Information Security Operations Manager from January 2017 to February 2019. Brian also worked as a Client Strategy Manager and Security Operations Center (SOC) Team Leader at InteliSecure from September 2016 to January 2017 and August 2015 to September 2016, respectively. Brian Falk began their career as a Cyber Officer in the United States Air Force, where they served from June 2005 to August 2015.

Brian Falk obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management from the United States Air Force Academy, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Brian furthered their education at Wilmington University, where they received a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management from 2007 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Brian also holds several certifications related to information security and systems control. Brian obtained the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA in March 2019, the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification in March 2018, the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) certification in August 2017 from ISACA, and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification in May 2017 from (ISC)².
