Carme Gauxachs Calvo

Carme Gauxachs Calvo is an accomplished regulatory affairs expert with extensive experience in the healthcare sector, specifically in emerging markets. Serving as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Safety for Reckitt from July 2016 to December 2024, Carme was responsible for innovative regulatory strategies and safety initiatives across Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Russia-CIS, Asia, India, and China/Hong Kong/Taiwan. Carme also held the position of VP and Global Head of Regulatory Affairs for Reckitt Health, where leadership ensured successful navigation through complex regulatory environments. Additionally, involvement with various organizations included serving as a Board member of the Global Self-Care Federation and participating in the Regulatory Affairs Committee of the AESGP. Carme holds a Master's degree in Registration of Medicines from Universitat de Barcelona and a Master's in Environmental Management from IQS-Universitat Ramon Llull.
