Uriel Castillo

Uriel Castillo is a Manufacturing Engineer II at Boeing Defense, Space & Security since August 2024, specializing in production tooling design with Autodesk Inventor, and employing Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies to ensure process capability and product quality. Prior experience includes a role as Manufacturing Engineer at RBC Sonic Industries, where Uriel designed custom tooling to optimize production workflows. As STEM Coordinator at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Los Angeles Harbor, Uriel inspired K-12 students to engage in STEM learning through hands-on activities. Uriel's early engineering experience includes a Student Engineer position at the Port of Los Angeles, modifying projects related to alternative energy and floor plan designs. Uriel holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach, and has participated in research projects focused on enhancing automotive safety systems and developing a four-wheel drive robot. Uriel also served on the Elections Committee for student government, advocating for student needs and ensuring the integrity of campus elections.
