Ian Preston has extensive experience in data insight and analysis, with a particular focus on reporting and database management. Ian worked at BlueBay Asset Management as the Head of Data Insight, where they were responsible for creating dashboards and other business objects. Prior to that, they served as a Manager and Senior Data Insight Analyst at the same company. Before joining BlueBay, Ian worked at Eze Software Group, where they held various roles, including Associate Director of Development and Lead SQL Developer. In these positions, they worked on the Portfolio Management System application and managed the integration team responsible for exchanging data with third-party entities. Ian also has experience as a Senior Database Developer at International Telematics and as a Database Administrator at Theta (NZ).
Ian Preston attended The University of Auckland from 1999 to 2002, where they pursued a dual degree program. Ian completed a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree, specializing in Information Systems and Computer Science.
