Sven Koehler

Sven Koehler, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in product control and risk management within the banking sector. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Product Control North America at RBC Capital Markets since July 2010, Sven has held several leadership roles, including Head of Canadian Banking & Corporate Treasury Product Control and Director overseeing Product Control Production. Prior to RBC, Sven was Vice President at Commerzbank AG, managing Credit Product Control, and held similar vice presidential roles at Dresdner Kleinwort, focusing on product control for various derivatives and financial instruments. Sven began his career at Dresdner Bank in Frankfurt and has also contributed as a research assistant and diplomand in earlier roles. Sven earned a Dipl.-Kfm. in International Management from Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg and attended the University of Virginia.
