Albert E. Kirby

Albert E. Kirby is an accomplished hospitality professional with extensive experience in food and beverage management. Currently serving as the Director of Food and Beverage at RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg since March 2019, Kirby previously held the position of General Manager for Q Restaurants at Fairmont Empress Hotel, where leadership was provided during a significant heritage rebranding initiative. Kirby's earlier career included various roles at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, such as General Manager of Sidecut Modern Steak + Bar and Director of Banquets, with a focus on off-site functions and unique venue operations. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce in Hospitality and Finance from Ryerson University and multiple certifications in wine from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
