Cathy Griffith, PMP

Cathy Griffith, PMP, has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Cathy started their career in 1996 as a Marketing Associate, where they coordinated marketing plans and contributed to brand development. Cathy then worked as a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) PM Assistant, assisting in project management tasks.

In 2001, Cathy became a Certified Meeting Professional, responsible for planning and executing meetings, workshops, and conferences with up to 600 attendees. Cathy worked closely with clients to define goals and requirements and managed budgets of up to $600k.

From 2012 to 2015, Cathy served as an Executive Assistant to a Senior Scientist in the Air Force Research Laboratory. Cathy acted as a liaison between the scientist and internal/external organizations, tracking interactions and commitments.

In 2015, Cathy joined Engility Corporation as a Senior Office Administrator, providing project and administrative support to a technical division within the Air Force Research Laboratory. During their time there, they also worked as a Senior Executive Assistant, supporting a leadership team of senior researchers and program managers.

Currently, Cathy is employed as a Project Coordinator at RBR-Technologies since 2019. Cathy recently held the role of Knowledge Management Engineer, where they managed knowledge distribution policies, encouraged the use of new practices, and evaluated their effectiveness. Cathy interacted with staff members, unit managers, and clients in this role.

Cathy Griffith, PMP, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Bowling Green State University, which they obtained between 1992 and 1996. Cathy also pursued a minor in Sociology during their undergraduate studies. In terms of certifications, Cathy has achieved the Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential from the Project Management Institute in October 2020. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Meeting Professional certification from the Convention Industry Council in July 2009.
