Yuk Ching CHOW

Yuk Ching Chow has a strong background in electronic engineering, with experience in various companies. From 2023, Chow has been working at RC Labs as a Senior Electronic Engineer, specializing in Embedded and IoT Systems. Prior to this, Chow worked at LSCM R&D Centre from 2018 to 2021, where they developed a multi-camera low-latency video transmission system and implemented sentiment analysis using cloud-based APIs. From 2012 to 2017, Chow worked at HKT as an Engineer, focusing on launching small/pico-cell base-stations and controller-based Wi-Fi systems. They also conducted acceptance tests for multimode radio access equipment. Before that, Chow held positions at Huawei as a Staff System Engineer, ASTRI as a Principal Engineer, and Toshiba Research Europe Limited as both a Research Consultant and a Principal Research Engineer. Chow's earliest work experience was at Motorola Semiconductors Hong Kong Ltd as a Technical Staff Engineer, where they were involved in the design and evaluation of wireless communication systems.

Yuk Ching CHOW completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering at the University of Glasgow from 1986 to 1990. Yuk Ching then pursued a Master of Science degree in Communication and Signal Processing at Imperial College London from 1990 to 1991. Following this, Yuk Ching CHOW obtained their Ph.D. in Mobile Radio Communications from the University of Bristol, where they studied from 1991 to 1997.
