Tarsha Adkins

Tarsha Adkins has over 18 years of work experience in various roles related to human resources and information systems. Tarsha is currently working at Recognizing Children's Gifts Behavioral Health Network as a Partner & Chief People Officer, where they are responsible for overseeing human resources functions. Prior to this, they worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond for 10 years, holding positions such as Sr. Systems Analyst/Project Manager and Sr. HRIS Analyst, where they were involved in managing HR information systems and implementing technical solutions. Before that, they worked at CarMax as a Programmer and Payroll Systems Analyst, where they developed and supported critical payroll, HR, and IT applications. Tarsha also worked at Filtrona as an HRIS Analyst, where they administered HRIS and payroll systems, and at UPS Freight as an HRIS Specialist, where they were responsible for system administration. Tarsha Adkins started their career at Capital One as a Service Center Analyst.

Tarsha Adkins earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from Virginia Commonwealth University. Tarsha attended VCU until 2002. Before attending VCU, Tarsha Adkins briefly attended Howard University in 1996-1997, although the specific degree or field of study they pursued during that time is unknown. In 2020, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Virginia Commonwealth University.
