Nisha Balwani

Nisha Balwani has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Nisha is currently the CEO of RCI Technologies Inc., a minority and woman-owned technology services firm specializing in cyber security, project management, and application development. Prior to this, they were the CEO and Co-Founder of RENTALYA, a rental service for South Asian formalwear. Unfortunately, RENTALYA had to shut down due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Nisha also has experience as a Chief Operating Officer and Director of Business Development at RCI Technologies Inc. In addition, they have interned at HoneyFlower Foods and Blueland during their MBA program. Nisha started their career at Unilever, where they participated in their Leadership Development Program and held roles in trade marketing and analysis.

Nisha Balwani has an extensive education history. Nisha earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Rutgers University in 2011. In 2010-2011, they pursued additional studies at London Metropolitan University, focusing on Marketing and Management. Later, in 2015-2016, Nisha obtained a Strategic Steps for Growth Certification in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from New York University. Nisha furthered their education by completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business at Columbia Business School from 2017-2019. Additionally, they received certifications as a Level I Yoga Instructor from CorePower Yoga and also obtained a certification in Strategic Steps for Growth from NYU Stern School of Business.
